Shaw Cable TV

Based in Calgary, Alberta, Shaw Communications is Canada's second largest cable company. It provides high-speed internet access, cable television, digital television, and video on demand services, as well as a recently launched digital phone offering in select markets.

Shaw grew throughout the 1980s and 1990s, due to a string of acquisitions in various provinces. Its assets are now mostly restricted to Western Canada, however, due to two market swaps with Rogers.
