    Rogers Wireless is currently the largest provider of mobile phones to customers in Canada, with a total of 6.2 million subscribers, and a service area covering 94% of the Canadian population.

    Owned by popular cable and telecom provider, Rogers Communications, this carrier uses GSM technology for its mobile voice network. Rogers also offers a variety of mobile data services over its GPRS and EDGE networks, and has plans to launch a high-speed 3G data network later this year, using HSDPA technology.
