    Sprint's wireless voice network is based on 1xRTT, a type of CDMA cellular technology. The company is also rolling out a high-speed EV-DO mobile data network, and is America's top provider of PTT (push-to-talk) communication technology, which is offered through Nextel's iDEN network.
