    Based in Woodland Hills, California, United Online is the company behind NetZero and Juno, two of America's most popular discount ISPs. In total, United Online provides service to about 2.8 million internet users in the U.S.

    The dialup and "premium dialup" internet services offered by Juno and NetZero cost just $9.95 and $14.95, respectively, and are available in most markets throughout the United States and Canada.

    There is also a "free ISP" option available in select cities, which allows non-subscribers to use an ad-supported browser at no charge for up to 10 hours per month.

    All dialup plans offered by NetZero and Juno include a free webmail account with spam and virus protection.
